Snake predators: What animals eat snakes?

The snake appeared approximately 128 million years ago. They have adopted the environment so they can live in any given condition. You will find them throughout the world except for Iceland, New Zealand, and Ireland, and in Antarctica.

When we talk about the features, snakes are divided into three parts: head, body, and tail. They have a long and flexible body, which is very strong.

You will be surprised to know snakes have the worst eye side, and they do not rely on their eye side; take it one of their weaknesses. They also have a weak hearing; the strong part of the snakes is the tongue that gave them enough information about the prey and predators. This is the tongue that helps them to find their prey even in the dark.

One of the most dangerous information about snakes is they have the power to eat the animals that are bigger in size; they can eat and prey on them just because of their skull structure. But it does not mean animals are scared f snake, some of the animals like to prey on them and consider their favorite meal.

In the below there is a list of snake predators:

Mongoose

This is one of the small but very brave animals that have the power to prey on the snake and to consume them. They are immune to snake poison so they can prey on them easily. Mongoose has fur that helps them in the protection so the snake cannot bite them. This predator has the power to eat the snakeheads in just a few seconds.

Honey-badger

This is considered as one of the brave and worst enemies of the snake. They have a record of eating the most poisoned snake and had no impact on them. They came to prey on the snake and made it successful. But they have a weak point. If a snake bites them, then they went into a coma for the next few houses, but the poison of the snake cannot kill them. So after a snake bite, they can survive easily.

Birds

Why snake hides in the bushes and becomes a part of the environment so nobody can see them. They do it just because to stay away from the birds. Hawks and owls are considered as primary snake predators. They can see them from a distance, so within a few seconds, they can prey on them easily. They attack during flight, so the snake did not have the chance to fight back. They are also immune to the snake poison.

Pets

Dog and cat are considered as the snake predators, and they can prey on them if they feel they have harm from them. A dog can also prey on them if their owner means a human is in danger just because of a snake.

Human

There are uncountable humans that died due to snake bite or poison, so having a snake within the home can be alarming. They would like to kill them for the safety of their family. They may kill them through the gun or may use trap kits or dogs to get rid of them.
